ABOUT NIROMA STUDIO
Niroma Studio was founded by Cindy Hwang Bokser, a fiber artist specializing in macrame with a side of weaving.
In 2015, frustrated by the limited macrame rope options available in the U.S., Cindy began working with manufacturers to create macrame string and rope to use in her work. After receiving countless inquiries about her materials, she began providing the same high quality fibers to others and continues to expand Niroma Studio's offerings for macrame artists, weavers and fiber arts enthusiasts.
Creating art and supporting fellow makers is at the heart of the Niroma Studio mission. Cindy is a co-founder of the 13,000-strong Macrame Movement community on Facebook, a place where knotters can talk about their art practice, share helpful tips and learn from each other.
Cindy is also the creator and host of The Fiber Artist Podcast, where artists, makers and creatives who work with fiber share their stories.
