BRAND NEW! Available in 30 beautiful colorways, from pastels, neutrals, vibrant and nature-inspired shades.  Our brand new recycled Sari Silk Cord adds radiant dimensionality and crisp lines to bring shape to your fiber work.  To create this cord, remnants of recycled sari fabric have been hand dyed and

sewn into long pipe-shaped cords with a lightly silk-filled core. If you're looking for a clean finish with virtually no fraying or loose ends, these are a great choice!

The versatility of sari silk is unparalleled. It has a surprising resilience and a lustrous sheen, and can be used for weaving, crocheting and knitting rugs and home goods, as well as incorporated into weavings, macrame and other fiber crafts.

This recycled sari silk cord is fair trade, ethically sourced from India, and hand dyed in small batches.  Each dye lot may differ slightly so please be sure to purchase enough for each project.

A note about recycled fabric:  No two skeins will be exactly the same. Flecks of metallic fiber may be evident in some parts. The ribbon is not always one continuous length and may have sewn ends as these pieces are remnant cut-offs being given new purpose.

Each skein is approximately 100 grams.

4-5 mm thick, though this may vary throughout due to the recycled nature of the fiber.
